A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. The sleeping room rate is $118.00 per night (plus a 6-percent state tax, 2-percent convention and visitor’s bureau assessment tax, and $9.95 resort fee per room per night, for a total of $137.39 per night) for single or double occupancy. Although the room block closed on May 7, you may still ask for the special rate when making your reservation. The hotel will honor the room block rate on a space-available basis. The sleeping room rate is available for reservations between Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 12, 2010. You can make your reservation by phoning the hotel directly at (800) 968-7352. Hotel Policies

If you need to cancel your hotel reservation, you must notify the hotel 72 hours before your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made fewer than 72 hours in advance will incur a financial penalty of one night’s room and tax.

A major credit card or debit card will be needed to guarantee your room reservation. The hotel check-in time is 4 p.m., and the checkout time is 11 a.m.

Please remember: Registering for a sleeping room at the hotel does not register you for the workshop. Please go to the registration page on this Web site to register for the workshop.

Local Airport Information and Transportation

The Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is the most convenient airport to the hotel. Travel time from the airport to the hotel is approximately 10 minutes.

Transportation To and From the Hotel

Hotel Shuttle: The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa provides an airport shuttle service to/from the hotel. The shuttle service is included as part of the Resort fee. Please call the Resort in advance of arrival to make arrangements to be picked up at (800) 236-1577.
