Parking
The Center for Urban Horticulture offers complimentary parking for its guests in the lots off 41st Street. The lower lot is reserved for staff.
Contacting a Workshop Participant
If your colleagues or family need to reach you during the conference, they may contact the Center’s main number at (206) 221-2500 and ask for the Air Quality and Climate Change Conference registration desk. In an extreme emergency, a conference staff member will attempt to locate you in the conference sessions. For nonemergencies, messages will be taken and posted on the message board near the registration desk.
Directions to the Center for Urban Horticulture
From I-5
- Take the NE 45th Street exit. Drive east on NE 45th Street for approximately one mile. You will pass the University of Washington and come down a viaduct. At the stoplight at the bottom of the viaduct, turn left to stay on NE 45th Street. At the next stoplight (5-way intersection), turn right onto Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Continue to the bend in the road where Mary Gates Drive becomes NE 41st Street. The center is on your right. Northwest Horticultural Society Hall is in the first complex of buildings.
From SR-520
- Take the Montlake Boulevard exit and drive north on Montlake Boulevard. Stay to the right as you cross the bridge and pass Husky Stadium. At the five-way intersection of NE 45th Street and Mary Gates Memorial Drive, turn right onto Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Continue to the bend in the road where Mary Gates Drive becomes NE 41st Street. Northwest Horticultural Society Hall is in the first complex of buildings.
Ground Transportation to the Center for Urban Horticulture
Metro bus routes 25, 65, and 75 stop at NE 45th Street and Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Route 67 stops at NE 45th Street and Montlake Boulevard.
